IIT Jodhpur Admission to M. Tech Programmes 2014-15
IIT Jodhpur invites applications for admission to M. Tech programmes for the Semester commencing from July 2014.
The aim of the M. Tech Program is to develop graduates having good knowledge and research training in emerging areas of technology and science. IIT Jodhpur has organized the Master’s Program in domains of three research centers of the Institute, namely
1. M. Tech in Center for Energy
2. M. Tech in Center for Information and Communication Technologies
3. M. Tech in Center for Systems Science

For admission to the 2014-15 First Semester commencing in July 2014, this online link will remain active till 31st March, 2014.
Applicants are requested to send online generated summary sheet and final submitted application duly signed along with a copy of GATE, NET, CSIR, UGC or NBHM score card (copy of GATE-ADMIT Card or equivalent, if the result is awaited) and the processing fee of Rs.300 for General and OBC applicants and Rs.150 for SC, ST, and PD applicants in the form of a demand draft drawn from a nationalized bank in favour of “Director, IIT Jodhpur” payable at Jodhpur.

Eligibility for Admission:
The eligibility criteria prescribed below are the absolute minimum. The Selection Committee may prescribe requirements over and above these.

M. Tech students, as full time students of the Institute, are eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs. 8000 in return for 8 hours of work per week of Teaching or Research Assistantships.
Also, the Institute provides partial financial support up to Rs. 25,000 to each M. Tech student during their entire M. Tech Program for presenting research papers at International conferences, workshops or seminars. This support is available only to those students, who present research papers at international or national conferences, workshops or seminars.
The norms of reservation for different categories shall be adopted as laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
