Before starting the application process, the applicant must ensure that he/she meets the eligibility criteria of GATE exam given in the following table:

Required Documents
If an applicant has already received above-mentioned qualifying degree than he/she needs to upload degree certificate/ provisional certificate.
If an applicant is still in the final year of above-mentioned qualifying degree than he/she needs to upload Certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute ( Click here for format ). Signature and seal of the Head of Institute/Department with the current date should be there in this certificate.
