    I am preparing for Gate 2015, Branch -CS/IT, Category-GN.
    I am working employee and doing study in parallel.
    for the top 3 IITs(IISc, IIT-B,IIT-M).
    what is the minimum score that I have to score, this is my final attempt towards PG.

Sir,I have got AIR 536 in Chemical Engineering with GEN (586-GATE Score and 53.67 marks with 35.14 cutoff) category and want to know that whether I can get the direct admission in IIT Mumbai or not as on the website of IIT Mumbai they are showing 475 cut off for chemical engineering and no interview or written calls are there for this branch.Kindly help me.

    and it is nt possible that only 600 score is required for direct admission in these two specialization.(as high score is required for direct admission).

I ve found in the given information one requires to have a Gate score of 450 to get admission in IIT bombay’s enrgy department…but i think corresponding rank in mechanical for this gate score will be 5600 to 6000..it really confuses me…is energy dept that bad or there is some other funda as the department is an inter disciplinary department…ur reply will be appreciated.. 🙂

      trichy ,surathkal and warangle ….or try for mumbai managmennt thermal study….iz the best option..

    • Teaching Assistantship mean you have to work for 8 hour per week for any faculty for which you will be given 8000/- month..
      This category gets high cutoff among other such as research assistantship
