There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I . Applicants who are shortlisted on the basis of performance in Paper –I will be called for Paper-II (Conventional Type).

For general engineering papers candidate have to attempt only one part out of three respective to the post he/she applied for.

Application Fees for SSC JE is Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
Women applicants and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying an application fee.

    In the above SSC (J.E) notification, for most of the post the requirement is 3years Diploma. Can a civil engineer can apply for those post?
