It for serving the India by gaining self-reliance and developing the ability to design and build Launch Vehicles and Communication/Remote Sensing Satellites and consequently launch them. ISRO tries to serve the nation in the areas of telecommunication, television broadcast, meteorological application and in the management of our natural resources. The Indian space program pursues successful goals on all fronts in meeting the purpose of achieving self-reliance in space technology and its applications for country development.

ISRO offers the position of Scientist/Engineer `SC’ to the young graduates in the following specialized fields:-
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ [Civil] – 09
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ [Electrical] – 05 + 01
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ [RAC (Mechanical)] – 02
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ [Architecture] – 01
Qualification for ISRO Recruitment 2019
BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters).
Age limit for ISRO Recruitment 2019
35 years as on 15.01.2019 (38 years for OBC and 40 for SC/ST ). Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Selection Process for ISRO Recruitment 2019
Based on the academic accomplishment and bio-data, a primary screening will be carried out to short-list applicants for taking-up written test. The written exam will be conducted on 10/03/2019 at 12 places which are New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram.
The call letters for the written test to the shortlisted candidates will be sent only by e-mail during the second/third of March 2019.
The written exam paper consists of 80 objective type questions carrying equal marks. Depending on the performance in the Written Test, applicants will be short-listed for interview. The written test is only a first level screening, and written test score will not be counted for final selection process. Final selection will be based on the performance of the applicants in the Interview, and those who secure minimum 60% marks in the interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.
Application Fees for ISRO Recruitment 2019
The application fee is Rs. 100/-. Applicants can pay it through both online and offline mode. All SC/ST/PWD Ex-servicemen and women applicants are spared from payment of Application Fee.
