Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited – MRPL is a subsidiary of ONGC and Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise and India’s top energy company issued notification for the recruitment of engineers and laboratory supervisor in ‘A’ grade of Management cadre through GATE 2019. MRPL is operating a 15 Million Metric Ton state-of-the-art Refinery located in beautiful hilly terrain, Mangaluru city, in Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka State. The refinery has got many designs with complex secondary processing units and high flexibility to process Crudes of various API, delivering a variety of quality products. It also includes a Polypropylene unit having a capacity of 440 KTPA.

Applicants applying against Un-reserved posts & posts reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) should have not less than 60% and Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and posts reserved/identified suitable for Persons with Disability (PWD) category should have not less than 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination.
Age Limit for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019
Upper Age limit is 28 years as on 04/07/19 for Unreserved candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rule and guideline.
Selection Process for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019
Applicants will be shortlisted for Group Discussion/ Task and Interview process based on GATE 2019 Score. Applicants will be called in 1:5 ratio (5 candidates per post for selection process).
5% weightage will be given for Group Discussion, 10% to Personal Interview and 85% weightage shall be given to GATE score
Application Fees for MRPL Recruitment through GATE 2019
Rs 100/- for candidates belonging to General/OBC category (including non-creamy layer)/EWS and SC / ST / PWD/ Ex-Serviceman/ categories and regular employees of MRPL are exempted from payment of Application fee.
