Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. is a thermal power generating company owns 2 X 210 MW lb Thermal Power Station, Banharpali, Jharsuguda and has an annual turnover of about Rs. 500 crores. The Company is currently in the process of construction of 2 X 660 MW units & developing its captive coal mine. They look for optimistic, young, active and committed Engineers with brilliant academic record to join OPGC as Engineering Executive Trainees.

Age Limit for OPGC Recruitment through GATE 2018
1. General/OBC Creamy Layer – 25 years as on 1st January of recruitment year.
2. OBC Non-Creamy Layer – age relaxation of 3 years.
3. SC – age relaxation of 5 years.
4. ST – age relaxation of 5 years.
5. PWD – age relaxation of 5 years.
6. PWD & OBC-NCL – age relaxation of 8 years.
7. PWD & SC/ST – age relaxation of 10 years.
Salary and Perk for OPGC Recruitment through GATE 2018
Applicants chosen for the above position(s), will be hired in ET Grade for the training period for one year and on successful accomplishment of training will be placed in E1 grade of MBS (Market Based Salary) as Assistant Managers.
Throughout the training period, they will receive a CTC of 4.50 LPA. The selected applicants posted at plant site will also be provided with bachelor lodging, apart from other perks and benefits as applicable.
Throughout the training period of one year the trainee may be terminated in case his/her performance is not found acceptable.
How to Apply for OPGC Recruitment through GATE 2018
(i) First Stage – Filling up of online application form in the month of January, 2018.
(ii) Second Stage – Online uploading of the GATE-2018 admit card and Mark sheet along with the marks secured to be filled in the box provided in the month of April, 2018.
(iii) During the Second Stage, after online submission of the GATE 2018 Marks, a printout copy of the submitted application form is to be sent through “SPEED POST/COURIER/POST” along with the copy of GATE-2018 admit card and mark sheet, SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD Certificate (if applicable) to “Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited, HR Department, Zone-A, 7th Floor, Fortune Towers, Chandrashekherpur, Bhubaneswar- 751024” so as to reach by 30th April, 2018. Any postal delay or lost in transit will not be considered. The envelope containing the Application form should be clearly super scribes “Application for ET” and “name of Post” (i.e. Mechanical/Electrical etc.)
