Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) works under the administrative control of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Govt. of India. It is the National Standards Body of India and is liable for activities in the field of Product and System Certification and Standardization, Laboratory Testing, Hallmarking of Gold/Silver Jewellery, etc., in India. BIS is also responsible for Standardization and Certification at the International level. BIS Recruitment through valid GATE Score.
BIS recruiting engineering students for the post of Scientist-‘B’ in the specified disciplines and categories. The approximate salary at the time of joining will be Rs. 87,000/- at Delhi at present.

Age limit for BIS Recruitment 2020 through GATE score
The maximum age limit of candidates is 30 years of age as on 31st March 2020. For relaxation detail refer to official notification.
Selection process for BIS Recruitment 2020 through GATE score
Selection process consist of two following steps:
- Short-listing based on GATE 2018 / 2019 / 2020 score. Short-listing of applicants for Personal Interview will be done in order of merit of valid GATE Scores.
- Personal Interview: Number of candidates to be called for interview will not be higher than 4 times the number of vacancies in the concerned discipline & category.
Final merit list will be prepared by considering 85% weightage of GATE score and 15% weightage of marks obtained in interview.

Applicants are required to apply On-Line from 02/03/2020 to 31/03/2020 through BIS website www.bis.gov.in
Application fees is Rs. 100/- and no fees for SC/ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ Person with benchmark disability/Women Candidates.
