Qualification for NPCIL through GATE
B.Tech/B.E from AICTE/UGC recognized institute in following branches:

Interested candidates should possess valid GATE Score in any of the disciplines mentioned above at the time of applying online in NPCIL. In respect of Industrial & Fire Safety discipline, candidates should possess valid GATE Score in Mechanical/Chemical discipline with engineering degree in Industrial & Fire Safety.
Age Limit for NPCIL through GATE
Upper Age limit is 26 years as on 02/04/2020. Age relaxation is there as per government norms. check notification for detail.
Pay Scale for NPCIL through GATE
During Training
Monthly Stipend – Rs. 55,000/-
One time Book Allowance – Rs. 18,000/-
Mandatory Lodging & Boarding – In accommodation as provided by NPCIL.
On Appointment
Executive Trainee will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Group ‘A’ after successful completion of training.

Selection Process for NPCIL through GATE
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE 2018/2019/2020 Scores for the Interview process.
Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview. No weightage will be given to GATE Score during the final selection. The qualifying marks for interview are as follows :
Unreserved – 70%
EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PWD – 60%
Application Fee for NPCIL through GATE
Only Male applicants from General / OBC category are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application fees. Others are exempted from it.
How to apply for NPCIL through GATE
- Applicants must ensure that she/he has valid GATE 2018/GATE 2019/GATE 2020 Score with qualifying marks applicable in the discipline against which she/he wish to apply.
- A Applicants has to apply through online application form provided on the website www.npcilcareers.co.in only.
- The online application form will be available on the website from Feb 23, 2021 (1000 Hrs) to March 03, 2020 (1700 Hrs).
